Blue Screen, Probably Graphics card driver issue

Hello all

I have a Sony VPCCA15FG. I have Windows 7 installed on the machine and I have been experiencing bouts of Blue screens, with an error of atikmpag.sys.

On my research I have stumbled across a graphics card issue. The system has an AMD driver and I found out that the problem is generally caused by Catalyst Control Center (CCC) software. 

Even the video doesn't play smoothly and I am unable to open MS Office based applications.

I uninstalled the driver, I am able to open the MS Office applications but then lose the Aero effect and unable to open even the mini games. 

Tried installing the updated Radeon 6300M software to no avail, as the problem persists.

So could anyone come to my rescue.
